Sherri Hall’s 35 years working with
animals has led her through experiences
starting in her teenage years supervising
horse camps, rescuing/rehabilitating
wildlife, to operating a successful
kennel, breeding, boarding and training
facility. As the owner of ByeBye Birdie,
she works with clients to develop
customized programs for Animal Control
and Goose Control services. Her latest
venture, Elite Detection Dogs, provides
sales and services for bedbug, mold and
grow op detection dogs. Her success is
not only attracting attention, it is receiving
recognition. She won the South Simcoe Business Excellence award in 2008, Entrepreneur of the Year.

In addition to ELITE DETECTION DOGS , Sherri owns and operates a licensed breeding/training/boarding kennel under the name of Maplelane Farm in New Tecumseth, breeding Golden retrievers and Border Collies. Her first company, Bye Bye Birdie Goose Control Services Inc., incorporates a variety of her dogs to serve municipalities and private companies in their efforts to control bothersome and destructive geese populations.
Sherri has been a resident of New Tecumseth for 16 years, prior to that exclusively in York Region.
Elite Detection Dogs offers dogs for use of detecting bedbugs, mold, goose control and search and rescue. Dogs for rent or sale also.

Jennifer Hall has been training dogs for over 15 years. She has trained dogs for many different fields including; obedience, conformation, hunting, flyball, agility, frisbee, dock dogs, goose control, scent detection and search and rescue. She currently owns 3 of her own dogs with whom she competes regularly.
Jennifer is a certified Master Trainer specializing in scent detection and search and rescue. She completed her courses at Tarheel Canine Inc. Police K9 Services.
She has also completed all of the training and testing required to become a Police Officer and holds a valid Security Guard licence. Jennifer completes the majority of our inspections.
Jayne Adams grew up locally with dogs and horses and has been surrounded by animals her whole life. Since her childhood, she has had many pets including horses, dogs, rabbits and cats. Jayne has also participated and volunteered at several local dog walkathons and taken part in the CN Tower climb to raise money for the World Wildlife Fund. She wanted to pursue an exciting career with dogs so she started here at Maplelane Farm as a Kennel attendant. She soon became interested and intrigued with the detection dog world, and was chosen to become a certified scent dog handler.
Jayne spent several months apprenticing and then entered into our Handler Training Program. Jayne is currently certified with Ada and Izzy for Bed Bug Detection & Search Patterns.
Samantha started her career in dogs right here as our full time kennel attendant in 2008. She then moved on to become one of our Goose Control Handlers with our highly trained Border Collies. Shortly after, she was accepted at Canada West Canine Centre and took courses in Obedience Training & Kennel Management. She achieved her Masters Trainers Certification, specializing in Obedience and Protection. She also holds a Pet First Aid Certificate.
She moved back to Ontario after her schooling and started working alongside trainers, working obedience, protection & scent work. Samantha has 2 dogs of her own, a 3 year old German Shepherd that competes in Schutzhund & a 1 year old Boxer, that she has plans of doing weight pull & possibly Schutzhund. Samantha is back with us now, and is currently certified with Dodger, Abra & Wonder for Bed Bug Detection & Search Patterns.
